Terms of Use

Updated: 3 May 2026

This document describes what this site is, what it is not, and the terms on which you use it. Please read carefully — especially the section about the limits of what an online site can do in situations that need immediate help.

01

What this site is

skryzhanivska.com is the personal site of psychologist Svitlana Kryzhanivska. Here you can:

  • learn about the practice and the therapist's approach;
  • book a consultation via the contact form;
  • read the blog on the nature of happiness;
  • take self-observation scales (SWLS, WHO-5, MHC-SF) — for reflection, not for diagnosis;
  • if you are a client of the therapist — take clinical questionnaires (PHQ-9, PCL-5) by individual code.

02

What this site is not

This is not an emergency mental-health platform. The site does not replace:

  • seeing a psychiatrist in an acute situation;
  • calling an ambulance when life or health is at risk;
  • real-time crisis counselling (24/7).

If you or someone close is in crisis right now, contact:

  • Mental health support hotline (Ukraine) 7333 (free from mobile)
  • Lifeline Ukraine 0 800 500 225 (free)
  • Emergency services 103
  • International Association for Suicide Prevention findahelpline.com (your country's hotline)

03

Who can use the site

The site is for adults (18+). If you are under 18, please contact the therapist only through a supervising adult (parent or legal guardian).

04

Registration and account

Registration is via OAuth (Google or GitHub). You are responsible for keeping access to your provider account secure.

You agree not to use someone else's account without permission and not to create fake profiles.

05

Self-observation scales (Group 1)

The SWLS, WHO-5, and MHC-SF scales are tools for self-observation, not for diagnosis. The score is not a medical assessment. For interpretation in the context of your situation, a conversation with a specialist matters.

The therapist is not responsible for decisions you make based on a scale result without professional consultation.

06

Clinical questionnaires by code (Group 2)

Clinical scales (PHQ-9, PCL-5) are accessible only by an individual code that the therapist sends to the client after personal communication. Completing these is part of work with the therapist, not standalone self-diagnosis.

Results are visible only to the therapist and discussed with the client at the next session. If certain indicators suggest elevated risk, the therapist commits to reaching out within the next working days.

07

Intellectual property

All blog material, site text, design, and photographs belong to Svitlana Kryzhanivska or are used under license. Quoting with attribution is permitted. Reprinting without the author's permission is not.

08

Changes to terms

The therapist reserves the right to change these terms. Changes take effect when published on this page. The last-updated date is shown at the top. For substantive changes, registered users will receive notice.

09

Jurisdiction

The agreement is governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved through pre-trial negotiation or in courts at the place of the therapist's registration.
